Exclusive: William Federer highlights unintended consequence of
tolerance toward Islam

Britain's Daily Mail, Jan. 29, 2007, reported in the article
"Multiculturalism drives young Muslims to shun British values":
Multiculturalism has alienated an entire generation of young Muslims
and made them increasingly radical, a report has found. In stark
contrast with their parents, growing numbers sympathize with extreme
teachings of Islam, with almost four in 10 wanting to live under
Sharia law in Britain. The study identifies significant support for
wearing the veil in public & and even punishment by death for Muslims
who convert to another religion. Most alarmingly, 13 percent of young
Muslims said they "admired" organizations such as al-Qaida which are
prepared to "fight the West."
Germany's Spiegel, Dec. 20, 2007, reported in the article "Interior
Ministry warns of radicalization of Muslims":
A new study released by Germany's Interior Ministry has added new
fuel to the debate about integration of Muslims in Germany, with the
report warning about the danger of radicalization of Muslims.
According to the study ... 40 percent of Muslims surveyed had a
"fundamentalist orientation" ... 6 percent of those surveyed were
classified as having "violent tendencies," while 14 percent of
respondents had "anti-democratic" tendencies. ... The report also
concluded that religious beliefs are becoming increasingly important
for young people.
Europe is wondering why fundamental Islam is not assimilating;
history may reveal the reason.
The word "Islam" means submission to the will of Allah, and a
"Muslim" is someone who has submitted. A "dhimmi" is an inferior
non-Muslim coerced to submit.
Muhammad divided the world into two parts: those who have submitted
and those yet to submit. He called these two parts the House of Islam
and the House of War, pronounced in Arabic "dar al-Islam" and "dar
al-harb."
Within 100 years of Muhammad's death in A.D. 632, fundamental
Islamic caliphs, with cavalry armed with scimitar swords, subjugated
vast areas of the world: Arabia, Persia, the Holy Land, North Africa,
Spain, Southern France, Sicily, Central Africa, the Middle East and
Central Asia.
Egypt was conquered by Muslim Gen. Amr ibn al-As. Gen. Khalid ibn
al-Walid was called the "Drawn Sword of Allah" for being undefeated
in nearly 100 battles.
In the next 1,000 years, Sultans subdued Indonesia, Java, Borneo,
Sumatra, the Byzantine Empire, the Balkans, Armenia, Greece, Romania,
Bulgaria, Albania, Wallachia, Moldova, Serbia and regions of China,
Tibet, Bengal, Mongolia, India, Russia, Hungary and Poland.
In 1529 and 1683, over 100,000 Turkish Muslims attacked Vienna,
Austria.
Whereas "world peace" in the West means peaceful coexistence, "world
peace" in Islam means the world submitting to the will of Allah.
Since there is no one theological body governing all of Islam,
faithful Muslims have developed differing views.
Moderate Muslims think the remaining area of the world will submit
to Allah in the distant future, maybe at the Hour of Judgment.
Therefore, since it is so far off, it is acceptable to get along with
non-Muslims in the present.
Fundamental violent Muslims think the rest of the world is
submitting to Allah now and feel it is Islam's "manifest destiny" to
make it happen. They would just as soon fight moderate Muslims,
considering them backslidden from following the example of Muhammad
and the caliphs.
Moderate Muslims are hesitant to speak out against fundamental
violent Muslims, as occasionally one does and they are threatened,
intimidated, forced to change their names for protection, have fatwas
put on them and even killed.
So there could, in a sense, be three groups of Muslims: a minority
of fundamental violent ones; a majority of moderate ones who are
afraid of the fundamental violent ones; and the courageous dead ones
who were not afraid of the fundamental violent ones.
The West may be inadvertently fueling the problem by not
understanding that fundamental Muslims interpret their "politeness"
as weakness or submission.
Saudi Arabia was pressured to revise its fundamental textbooks
supplied to Muslim schools around the world, including the U.S.,
because they contained intolerance.
The Washington Post, May 21, 2006, published excerpts of these
textbooks in an article "This is a Saudi textbook (after the
intolerance was removed)":
4TH GRADE: "True belief means ... that you hate the polytheists and
infidels."
5TH GRADE: "It is forbidden for a Muslim to be a loyal friend to
someone who does not believe in Allah and His Prophet."
8TH GRADE: "The apes are Jews, the people of the Sabbath; while the
swine are the Christians, the infidels of the communion of Jesus."
9TH GRADE: "It is part of Allah's wisdom that the struggle between
the Muslim and the Jews should continue until the Hour [of
Judgment]."
11TH GRADE: "Do not yield to Christians and Jews on a narrow road
out of honor and respect."
One may have to read that last line again:
"DO NOT YIELD to Christians and Jews on a narrow road out of honor
and respect."
In other words, when a Christian or Jew thinks they are being polite
by letting a Muslim go first, the fundamental student is taught that
they are simply acknowledging Islam's superiority.
Thus the dilemma:
If the West naively promotes tolerance of a belief system that does
not promote tolerance, it is effectively promoting intolerance.
If the West refuses to promote an intolerant belief system, it is
accused of being intolerant.
Muslims still sees the West, and particularly America, as a
predominately Judeo-Christian.
Newsweek Magazine (September 2005) reported America as 85 percent
Christian (58 percent Protestant, 22 percent Catholic, 5 percent
other Christian); 2 percent Jewish; 1 percent atheist; 0.5 percent
Buddhist; 0.5 percent Hindu; 10 percent other/non-reporting; and 1
percent Muslim.
So the question is: What goes through the mind of a moderate Muslim,
who thinks the world will submit to Allah in the distant future, when
he sees this predominately Judeo-Christian nation going to great
lengths to tolerate Islam now?
Let's look at the history of Islam's influence in the United States:
1991 Imam Siraj Wahhaj was the first Muslim to offer prayer in the
U.S. House of Representatives.
1992 Imam Warith Deen Muhammad was the first Muslim to offer
prayer in the U.S. Senate.
1993 Abdul Rasheed Muhammad became the first Muslim U.S. Army
chaplin (imam), spiritually instructing about 5,000 Muslim soldiers.
1996 Monje Malak Abd Al-Muta"Ali ibn Noel Jr. became the First
Muslim U.S. Naval chaplain (imam).
1996 First lady Hillary Clinton hosted a White House reception for
Muslims on Id al-Fitr, the end of Ramadan.
1999 New York City Police Department appointed its first Muslim
chaplain, Imam Izak-El M. Pasha.
1999 U.S. Postal Service published its first stamp honoring a
Muslim leader, Malcolm X.
2001, Aug. 1 U.S. Postal Service issued the Islamic postage stamp,
"Eid Mubarak."
2001, Sept. 11 Fundamental Muslim terrorist attacks.
2001, Nov. 16 Muslim chaplain of Georgetown University prayed in
the U.S. House of Representatives, followed by a dinner hosted by
President Bush to honor the occasion.
2001, Nov. 19 President Bush was the first president to invite 50
ambassadors from Islamic countries to celebrate Ramadan, where, for
the first time in the White House, Muslims knelt and touched the
floor with their foreheads in a formal ceremony.
2002, Dec. 5 President Bush was the first president to take off
his shoes to visit an Islamic Center.
2005, Jan. 20 President Bush was the first president to mention
the Quran in an Inaugural Address.
2007, Jan. 4 Nancy Pelosi stood next to Keith Ellison as he swore
upon a Quran to become the first Muslim U.S. congressman.
2007, April 5 Highest member of the U.S. Congress, speaker of the
House Nancy Pelosi, went to Syria and submitted to Islamic law by
covering her head with a Muslim Hijab (veil).
2007, April 17 President Bush was the first president to appoint a
Muslim U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Zalmay Khalilzad.
2007, June First Muslim prayer meeting began in the U.S. Capitol
building, bowing toward Mecca.
2008, Jan. 9 President Bush was the first president to call for
fulfilling the Muslim dream of pressuring Israel to give up sole
sovereignty of Jerusalem.
2008 Barak Hussein Obama, the first presidential candidate whose
middle name is that of Muhammad's grandson, told the French magazine
Paris Match, Jan. 31, 2008: "Once I'm elected, I want to organize a
summit in the Muslim world."
So the question again is: What goes through the mind of a moderate
Muslim, who thinks the world will submit to Allah in the distant
future, when they see this predominately Judeo-Christian nation going
to great lengths to tolerate Islam now?
Though America's actions are done in hopes that tolerance of Islam
will result in Muslims being more tolerant of non-Muslims, an
unintended consequence is emerging, namely, that these actions are
actually radicalizing some moderate Muslims by providing proof that
the world is submitting to Allah not in the distant future but
right now before their eyes!
They become persuaded that that their long-awaited desire of the
non-Muslim world "dar al-harb" (House of War) becoming "dar al-Islam"
(House of Islam) is imminent.
The excitement many Muslims feel is akin to what Christians and Jews
felt in 1948.
For centuries, Old Testament verses about Israel being gathered from
the nations to their homeland (i.e., Ezekiel 36:24, Isaiah 66:8) were
taken figuratively or thought to occur in the distant future. When
Israel suddenly became a nation again in 1948, there was great
excitement in Jewish and Christian circles at the possibility these
Old Testament scriptures were literally being fulfilled.
Islamic excitement can be understood in the context of honor or
pride.
In a football analogy, if a team is dishonored by many seasons of
poor performance, fans are humiliated, embarrassed and become
passive. But if the team suddenly has a winning streak and is headed
toward the playoffs, fans are filled with pride. They come out of the
woodwork, put on the team's jerseys, fill stadiums, paint their
bodies, mascots are lifted high, and when the opposing team fumbles,
the cheering mob roars with enthusiasm. They become radicalized.
In nature, when a fleeing antelope becomes exhausted, the pursing
lion charges harder.
This is similar to a presidential candidate no one takes seriously
suddenly winning a few primaries. The increased media coverage
energizes supporters to work harder, thus catapulting the candidate
to be a front-runner.
Islam's rapid growth is exhilarating to fundamental Muslims. The Pew
Forum on Religion & Public Life (October 2005) reported:
Islam is already the fastest-growing religion in Europe. Driven by
immigration and high birthrates, the number of Muslims on the
continent has tripled in the last 30 years. Most demographers
forecast a similar or even higher rate of growth in the coming
decades.
Could it be the more the West exhibits hyper-tolerance, the more it
turns some moderate Muslims, who believe the world will submit to
Allah in the distant future, into fundamental violent Muslims, who
view this tolerance as evidence the world is submitting to Allah now?
"Personal" tolerance in the West is rooted in Judeo-Christian
concepts like "love your enemies" and "turn the other cheek," but
Franklin D. Roosevelt warned regarding "national" tolerance in a
Fireside Chat, Dec. 29, 1940:
"No man can tame a tiger into a kitten by stroking it."

you posted on my blog, for which i am grateful. I will shine light upon what people need to see. Lets begin the massacre.
In Islamic history, there has been no violence in terms of "spreading the religion by the sword" As that is forbidden in Islam. it Says so in the Quran itself. The Quran encourages debating, thats why the Quran is structured in this way. "They say" and "Answer" It is written in the way it is meant to answer questions posed by the non believers.
As far as Saudia Arabian text books are concerned, The fact that the history of the "violence" in islam was a lie in this paper, i would not trust their sources on the text books either, but just incase if it was true. let me explain in this sense. In the west, we are published books in science writing "evolution" as fact, and as an established fact even though the evolutionists lack evidence and proof of their statements. Darwin himself was an athiest and hated religion, Evolution was only fueled by his hate against religion and also very bias in his letters t his friends. In a letter to Thomas thomton, he wrote "I do not believe in this theory to be a fact but because it helps me categorise species in embryology and biology i use it" Even Darwin himself did not say it was a fact, he said it was a theory which he used only to help him.
Christianity had "holy war" where crusaders killed thousands of people in the name of Christianity and the bible. Then we had the inquisition, which perverted the doctrine on such a large scale that it really made suffering a common thing in this world. The terrorists which you speak of and the fundemental terroritsts of Islam, have nothing to do with Islam. The Quran mentions specifically to "not kill", its true it mentions the words "kill all the non believers" but it is a quotation taken out of context. That quotation was taken from the time when the muslims of Mecca were at war with the non believers at the time, And in the battle field Allah tells his followers "kill all the non believers" Any army general will boost the morale of his soldiers by saying "kill the enemy" so whats so wrong about what was said?. As far as terrorists are concerned, its is more brainwashing than killing for the religion. Islam has no quotation nor any reason given to kill non believers and believers alike. This is a perfect example of the west brainwashing its people by spreading false information about Islam.

If it was true that, the west were merely being tolerant, then the most muslim converts would not be from the west alone.

As far as islamic radicals are concerned, Are you unaware of the christian radicals who publically state that they would like to bomb the white house? Or Hitler himself who was a christian had also enabled the holocaust to take place. Why are the actions of some 100 people or so, suddenly representing a global religion.
The Sharia law was mentioned and was voted by muslims that they would like to utilise it in britain. Are you unaware of the recent news, that a well known politician had suggested the same thing in britain recently? he also mentioned "some of the Sharia laws are implemented already within our laws, so it wot be a big of a change" The fact is, Why do you fear things that you dont understand? I want someone here to honestly tell me they know what the Sharia law is. But as soon as its mentioned its to do with Islam the ignorance will show and they will reject. Why? The sharia law only pretains that a thief should have his hands cut off for the act, and the rapist who has raped be put to death. If a thief his his or her hands cut off, its only possible with two reasons.
1: if the thief gets caught
2: if anyone is commiting act of thievery with this law under taken.
If people know the punishment 95% of them ownt steal, and the people who do will be given this punishment as a symbol to all criminals. This eliminates all thievery.
The rapist should be put to death is barbaric they say, If your 11 year old daughter was raped, molested and left on the street alone without any guidance or money. Later you were put in the judge's seat with the rapist in front of you, what sentence will you give him? Also, if your saying "i will give him 15 years sentence first, and if he does it again i will give him the death penalty" If i told you, the statistic from the FBI posted on their website in 1999 showed that 95% of all rapists commit rape against as soon as they come out of prison, would your opinion still stay the same?

Bullshit, the only fatwa put on in the last 20-30 years was on salman rushdie was writing Satanic verses which indicated that Islam is the devil's religion. Also, if Terrorists are killing people, its only natural they can threaten and even bully another person until they change their views for safety. This has nothing to do with Islam. its the same as if someone kidnapped your wife or loved one and made her say and do anything they wanted if they would promise her freedom and safety. She would obviously do so.

Lets go over this, There are 101 contradictions in the bible i can name from the top of my head right this minute, dating from creation o the world from the chapter of genesis, to the story of Noah's Ark being big enough to hold one of each species in the world? Yet there has not been a single estbalished contradiction in Islam. The bible even mentions a prophet would come and even suggests a new holy book. The bible never says the words "jesus will be reborn" this is prior to the King james version. It says "one like moses shall come" There are over 25 major differences between moses and jesus, Prophet muhammad is the last messenger of God according to Islam. The Quran even mentions Jesus in detail and also mentions his conception in full detail. It even admits that he was born without a male intervening. My question is, with this evidence in place, Who wouldnt convert? If your answer is no, then you are an "ostrich"

As far as tolerance is concerned, The way muslims see it, We ask to wear the clothes we want. I.e women should wear Hijabs. What other tolerance do we need? everything else is basic common sense. Muslims dont go around urinating on bibles and burning them in a pile. Evangelicals seem to have a taste for burning items and to an extent Nazi's had a satisfaction of burning crosses in their backyards. Muslims in general have never done such acts. Islam once again, is a religion of peace.
My last paragraph for now, i would bother writing more if anyone was still not convinced with my explanation or had any other questions. Visit my blog for clear answers on fundementals of Islam. The article above is a perfect "text book copy" of propaganda from the west, trying to say that Islam is a barbaric religion. Here is the truth ladies and gentlemen. Islam prohibits alcohol and drugs. The west lose 40% of their profits right there and then, Gambling is not allowed, Charging interest is not allowed. Prostitution and adultery is not allowed. How will the west remain rich if all these things are taken away? they wont. Once again, USA, European union etc, all these countries rely on this money to keep them at the top as long as possible. The british empire was the largest empire throughout the world, They had slaves coming from all over the world to work and build their economy because the people in their home country were refusing to do labor jobs.
The british empire also did unspeakable acts including chopping off the hands of all the craftmen of the countries they invaded, These people lived luxorious lives in mansions with servants tending to their every need. Recent events? 9/11 bombing conspiracy, Invasion of Iraq for oil. Mass production of false information on Islam in newspapers to develope a natural hate for Muslims, just like it was done in Germany to control the emotions of Germans in the time of Nazi control. The west accuse muslims and Islam to feel superior to everyone else, But at no point has any muslim leader said this openly, it is just the interpretation of the west. If someone is comfortable and succeeding, its only natural the opposition will try to bring the opponent down.

I have read your "comments" on my articles and we have written one private message to each other. This will more or less be my answer to all instead of each one. Its hard to know where to begin but I'll take them as they come to mind.
You have offered to send me to Arabic sites, or maybe it was Muslim sites, either way, to learn the "truth." I do go to some Arabic and some Muslim sites, much as I would perhaps go to Provda for news of the Soviet Union. Those are not my sources of reference for my articles. I stand by what I said (wrote) and leave it to the reader to disregard it, research it for themselves or believe it. I believe the G_d I pray to can actually incite to riot if the end goes along with his Will. He can hardon Pharoah's heart, or any other Potentate's heart. He can allow a Islamic Sword to come against those who are lukewarm to get them hot, get them to take a stand one way or the other. From the time Hagar layed in the desert with her child, a sword existed throughout the world. "His sword will be against every man, and every man's sword will be against him." That will continue until the return of Jesus the Jew. Islam will be crushed off the face of the earth. Jews and Christians will be united in the future, with all true believers in the Messiah. It is happening as we speak. Did it happen somewhat due to the introduction of the Islamic Sword? Perhaps so. Does G_d know this, did he orchestrate this, you study, pray, and decide for yourself. All enemies in existence who come against Christ the Lord, King Jesus, will be quelled. It is a done deal. It has just to play out on earth, as it has in Heaven. In other words, there may be a very good reason that the sword of Islam was unsheathed, and was allowed to heat up worldwide,with terrorism and horror because this has awakened Jews and Christians to reality of where they stand. This has not separated Jews and Christians, but brought them together faster than anything has in the past. This is an enemy that hates Jews and Christians equally. He is an equal opportunity hater. When Jews and Christians unite, it will be the most significant event that can be imagined, as the love of G_d is strong for these two cultures. So, Pharoah, Islam, whatever comes up against Jews and Christians, will in the future in the world, be overpowered, but there will be such bloodshed before that comes down to the end time battle. When America gets struck, instead of falling back, they band together, like nobody's business. It is a true phenomenon, but up until that time, they fight like cats and dogs, in the only place where you really can and not disappear into the night. They call each other names, and they do this and that, but when someone attacks, they fall in line and country, city, black, white, indian, Jew and Gentile, stand side by side for America. Islam, is just the latest sword used for a purpose. Some Muslims will become believers in Christ from visions they were lucky enough to have. These will help us see clearly what it takes to witness to the rest of the Muslin world. It is G_d's intention that multi multi multi gazillions of souls enter into his Heavenly rest, rather than burn in Hell. I want everybody with me in Heaven - everybody. Not everybody will be, but it is my will that as many millions as possible taste salvation and see that it is good. So, I hope that it is clear just what Islam can be, kingdom wise. The battle is already won by Christ Jesus. Islam is dangerous, and people must wake up to realize what the sword of Islam coming against the whole word, but especially Israel and America really means. It is as dangerous as Nazism is, and was. I see it thusly: (1) The sword of Islam comes down. (2) It hits us in the head, and we wake up (Jews and Christians in America). (3) We unite to do battle. God Bless american propaganda. I dont deny there are radical muslims out there who may do this type of stuff. All im denying is that the pictures, terrorist acts etc are part of Islam. as i have explained, it says in the Quran that killing is a major sin, just like in the bible. Holy war is not promoted or even mentioned once in the Quran and Jihad is explained on my blog.
What im concerned about is, once i clear away the misconception that terrorism is part of Islam. What else do you have left to object to.

The killing going on in the name of Islam and some peoples denial of it would probably be my major objections. Your religion Adeem, is being hijacked (no pun intended) and you want to fight with me??? You should be doing everything in your power to help me get people to understand the nature of the threat we face now and in the forseeable future. You more than anyone (I'm including you in ALL peaceful Muslims) should be able to comprehend that threat. The only people it doesn't threaten are those that agree with and are a part of that threat. Does that make sense? The pictures of men in uniform doing the Nazi salute etc, These are all images which are meant to strike fear in the west. Do you truly believe those men in those uniforms were really doing something like that? Its a orchestrated event. They dont know its a Nazi saluta or who the Nazi's even are. Those people dont even have a computer in their houses let alone a T.v with cabel.

I know most of the things on there are most probably quotes out of context, but it doesnt mean they arent worth checking up or reading. I read articles like yours and others because i like clearing things up. The same commandment is given to christians i.e Preach the gospel and the word of god and have patience. Ok, I'll try this again Lets say there is a segment of Christianity that was going around the world preaching hatred. Hatred of the Jew and hatred of the "people of the Koran." They had actually succeded in taking over countries and caused much suffering and death to those that were not Christian. It was even concievable that given time to get strong enough they could take over the entire world.
Suppose they took something in the Bible out of context, lets say it was Phillipians 2:v10&11,
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;
And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Lets say they were MAKING people at the very least SAY they were a Christian or they would be killed maimed and tortured even killed. They made people live by strict laws covered in Leviticus, obey or be killed.
I my friend would be in the front lines against them. It would make my blood boil to have these things done in the name of Jesus. Unless I misinterpret some of what you have said to me thus far, you either;
A. Deny the segment of Islam that is doing exactly what my fictitious Christians are doing.
B. Agree with what they are doing. Or
C. You are ignorant of the facts
