Nikita Khrushchev Remember him? Way back in 1962, as soviet Communist leader and premier of the USSR, he proclaimed:
"We will take America without firing a shot.......We will BURY YOU!
We can't expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism,
but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism,
until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism."
Are we there yet? I don't know for sure but I think we don't have far to go. Progressive and Socialist/Communist, seem almost one and the same to me. Different stages in development perhaps, but on the same road to destruction. I know that will get me some hateful comments from "tolerant" progressives but that is what I believe. I don't want to believe it, but I have a harder time ignoring facts than some do.
Communism was declared dead when President Reagan spent the Soviets in to oblivion. But, is it dead? I don't think so, it has merely been renamed.
One, (among many) shining examples of this is the A.C.L.U. Surely even you "progressives" will admit this organization is one of your glowing examples of "freedom" and "justice."

The ACLU was established in 1920 by Roger Baldwin, a Stalinist who candidly admitted: "I am for socialism, disarmament, and ultimately, for abolishing the state itself." The ACLU can be found listed on the Communist Party USA, website http://www.cpusa.org/link/category/22/ They are certainly utilized as a vehicle for "change."
They have managed pretty well to change America from "one nation under God" to the despicable condition we find ourselves in today.
President Ronald Reagan cautioned that: "...without God, there is no virtue because there's no prompting of the conscience. And without God, democracy will not and cannot long endure. If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."
Supporters of that other great President Bill Clinton were all to eager to vote for conformation of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the highest court in the land. She certainly believed the A.C.L.U. to be a great champion of liberty. She served as the ACLU’s General Counsel from 1973–1980, and on the National Board of Directors from 1974–1980. President Clinton nominated her as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, and she took her seat August 10, 1993.

Great! A fighter for truth, justice and the "American" way....right? There are enemies of America in BOTH parties in case Democrats are starting to feel picked on in this article. after all consider WHO suggested Ginsburg to Premier, I mean President Clinton:

They were nominated to fill the vacancies that arose on the Supreme Court in 1993 and 1994. Both were approved by the Senate with strong, bipartisan support. Justice Ginsburg was confirmed by a vote on 96-3. Justice Breyer was confirmed by a vote of 87-9.

Of course that was before Congress decided THEY should pick the Justices, not the duly elected Commander in Chief. Both Justices are revered and admired by progressives. Surely there are SOME patriots left in Washington, why they don't run these seditious one world government/communists out of town is a mystery to me. Slick Willie nominated her, (Ginsburg), a traitorous act in itself, but Bill Clinton could shoot a puppy in the head in front of a kindergarten class and the "left" would somehow excuse it. Why you all continue to love him I can't understand...unless...the "change" you seek is to change America in to a Socialist/Communist state. Some of the more honorable of you will admit to this, some of you are just useful dupes and some of you are just immature children (IMHO).
I "hope" somehow God spares us the "change" you seek, although I am starting to believe old Nikita knew his business. Where's Joe McCarthy when you need him?
Well, better go brush up on my Russian, or maybe Arabic, I may need it come January of 2009.

You're statement about Bill Clinton killing a puppy was right on target. I don't think I've heard a better example of something the media and left would excuse. (They'd probably come up with an excuse that it had rabies and was about to attack the class.)
I've been watching the "John Adams" mini-series on HBO this weekend and it renews my conviction that we had a marvelous group of people living at the same time back in 1776 - and how horrified they would be at what has become of this country in 2008. Time to take back our country - as Thomas Jefferson said, "I hold it, that a little rebellion, now and then, is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. "

I read your article from top to bottom.I agree fully.I recently got interested in politics when I retired.I admit I never took the time to read and listen to both parties.But I do now.I concluded that most Democrats are Liberals and the majority of them are very far left.Their platform is to bring Socialism/Communisiam to America."God helps those who help themselves",but Democrats wish to increase Entitlements.Hence-Socialism.

Little kids are starting to stand up in the schools - this is meaningful to the max. Judges are standing up and saying enough is enough!!!!!!!!!!! Senators are introducing G_dly pieces of legislation. No, Satanail, we "ain't" dead and we "ain't" dying either. We are taking this country back in the name of G_d, in the name of our fighting dead who shed blood so we could be free, and in the name of the recent martyrs in our country.
