I have been down for a while. Perhaps you have noticed my post's have slowed a bit. I have much going on in my life, a father that's dying, money problems, health issues etc. But what brings me here today is a profound sadness over the state of our country especially knowing that this great Republic just selected socialism as its authority dejur in our US Congress. I know, I know, in America Socialist prefer to be called Democrats and homosexuals prefer to be called gay. Nonetheless Dems are commies and homosexuals are sodomites. What's in a name, right?
No, I didn't vote Democrat but unfortunately it's my Congress too and I'm not whining and crying foul and complaining for the next several years. Do I think there was election fraud? Sure I do, that's a no brainer, why else would so many Democrats support not having to show ID to vote? But, I'm not going to recommend that we send ten thousand (or more) lawyers to count chads. You see, it would be bad for the country to do that and to me that would as bad as the Democrats winning this election -- so put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Now, do I think that the Democratic/Socialist party has been very destructive to our nation in the last couple of decades and that they will undoubtedly hasten the dismantling of our nation in the next few years? Without a doubt, but I also find it kind of ironic that these modern day Trotsky's had help from Republicans. What is even more curious is that it appears very likely that Democrats will be getting yet more Republican support as the Republicans continue to move to the left -- or perhaps they have been left all along and we just didn't see it. This is the same Republican party that I've supported with the exception of voting for Jimmy Carter in my first presidential election. (sorry, hey I was 18 and he said he was a Christian, it seemed like a good thing at the time).
I starting voting Republican when Ronald Reagan came on the scene. You remember that time don't you? Double digit inflation, lines at gas stations and an economy that was just about to be flushed down the tubes. Reagan was a conservative, a traditionalist, proud of America and proud to be American - oh yeah, he was a Christian as well. He portrayed strong leadership and an America that was resilient. Many have lost that in America today, at least among our so called leaders. Whatever happened to "my country right or wrong" anyway?
Compare that if you will to today's titular head of the Republican party -- one George W. Bush - a self proclaimed constitutionalists who believes America should be more of an idea than an actual sovereign nation with borders. Check out the SPP fact sheet <---click here I'm sure papa is proud of his son's following in the family business. Think of it, a North America without borders with a common currency, the Amero, and led not by Americans but by the The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.
Anyway, I don't know about you but my "black helicopter bell" just went off. No man elected to the Presidency and sworn to uphold the constitution could possibly contemplate such a thing. Right? But uno memento there Republican breath. Wasn't it Senyor W who vehemently supported illegal immigration, amnesty and unsecured borders? Maybe It's not ineptness or some blind spot we were led to believe. Could this all be by design -- ah the genius of it all.
Kind of spooky isn't it? I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist but this SPP business has me reeling a bit. It has that unmistakable ring of truth and smell of money about it. Somehow, probably while we were all watching American idle or fighting over abortion or gay rights it would appear that our country was being hijacked. Don't get me wrong, abortion and other moral issues are important but they (politicians) could be selling out our sovereignty which gives us the right to disagree about these things
Apparently this business has been gone on pretty much under the radar for some time now. There are those that have been warning me for months that we'd better wake up! OK, I now get it, I agree and to the rest of ya'll, we're apparently in deep do do, even more so than I supposed. If not, then well, I guess its one way to get us all to "get along." Destroy our sovereignty which will then pave the way for the common bondage of socialism. At least then maybe we can be "one" country again - just not one that is "under God."
As time allows I plan on writing more on this in the future but in the mean time might I humbly suggest that you consider searching this out for yourselves. As a matter of fact an awful lot of things about our President and Republicans that I supported are starting to make me uneasy but we'll save that for another day as well..
Just my opinion
Bill
